MaryRuth’s Liquid Morning Multivitamin Review

A Liquid Multivitamin Good For Your Entire Family?

Often, it’s hard to find a multivitamin that can do it all and works for both kids and adults. In fact, you’ve probably seen the different bottles and products that are geared toward men, women, and children. It doesn’t always have to be that way.

Yes, children need different nutrients than adults at times, but you both can utilize the same product. Always make sure that your pediatrician and doctor agrees.

Still, when a multivitamin contains only healthy things, no GMOs, and features organic ingredients, certain formulations can safe for both children and adults.

The MaryRuth’s Organics brand is a liquid multivitamin designed to be taken in the morning. I’m going to review this product at length so that you understand everything about it and why it’s the right choice for your family.

Morning Liquid Multivitamin Features

What makes this vegan vitamin different than so many others? Turns out, a ton. Below I’ll go over all of the features of this multivitamin so you can see for yourself how great it is.

Liquid

Since the multivitamin is a liquid, it is safer for everyone to take. Adults can often swallow pills with ease, but some adults have a powerful gag reflex.

Others just dislike the way the medicine feels while it goes down the throat. Children often have significant problems swallowing pills, and it can be a choking hazard.

If you want a vitamin that works for adults and kids and worry about swallowing a pill, you’ve got nothing to fear with the liquid version.

Flavors

Because it is a liquid, the entire bottle is going to be flavored the same. The raspberry taste is delicious.

If you find that it still tastes too much like vitamins, stir it into a glass of fruit juice or add it to your smoothie.

Complete Multivitamin

When you hear someone say they take a complete multivitamin, it means that the product contains everything their body needs and might not get through regular food.

The ingredient list is quite long and includes Vitamins like A, D3, C, E, B6, and B12. It also has things like riboflavin, thiamin, niacin, and folate. You can also find zinc, amino acids, and trace minerals.

This liquid multivitamin can provide you with the minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants that your body craves throughout the day.

Plus, MaryRuth’s says it is safe enough for children to use, though you can find products designed specifically for kids, as well. My toddler’s favorite is the Kid’s Vitamin Gummies.

Those who take this morning multivitamin are going to find that they can focus better and for longer periods of time. This also means they’ll have more energy for their day.

Some of the ingredients are known to strengthen your skin, hair, and nails. Therefore, you’re going to look better and feel a lot younger.

They’re also easy to absorb, so your body isn’t going to fight any of the ingredients. That reduces your risk of having stomach or digestive issues while taking the multivitamin.

Some people also find that their mood is improved when taking it. Your body is now getting what it requires to survive, which means you don’t feel cramps, lightheadedness, and other issues that come from not getting proper nutrition.

Having the right nutrients can improve your immunity, which means you don’t get sick as often and get over illnesses faster. Plus, most people love the taste, so it can be used by the entire family.

Organic and Non-GMO

This multivitamin is certified organic, which means that few if any chemicals are used during the growing and manufacturing process. Please be aware that the USDA allows five percent of the product’s ingredients to be non-organic and still qualify for the certification.

However, there is a strict list of products that are permissible to be used and not organic. GMOs aren’t often part of that, but there are a few exceptions with most manufacturers.

With the MaryRuth’s brand, you aren’t going to find common GMOs, such as soy lecithin or cornstarch. Generally, other alternatives are available, but they can raise the cost of the product.

If you want something as safe as possible for yourself and your family, it’s important to choose non-GMO and organic items.

Genetically modified materials are often included in processed foods. This means they’ve been changed somehow and can cause you to consume animal by-products.

GMOs can have gluten in them and can upset the stomach. If you have Celiac disease or are vegan, it’s important to focus on non-GMO products for your family. This brand offers that and so much more.

Vegan-Friendly

As you know, vegans don’t consume dairy or meat because they are made from or are animals. However, animal by-products can also be found as gelatin and other binding agents.

Since this is a liquid formulation, no binders are necessary. So you don’t need to worry about any by-products from animals being part of the ingredient list or used in the manufacturing process.

Celiac-Friendly

Those with Celiac disease can’t consume gluten or wheat. While wheat always contains gluten, some other ingredients can have gluten in them.

None of those are used, and the manufacturing plant doesn’t make anything else that might contain gluten, either. By using these vitamins you don’t have to worry about potential gluten contamination. Always double-check with your doctor to be sure.

Soy-Free

Soy is often used by vegans as a way to get protein, such as tofu. However, Soy lecithin is a genetically modified ingredient, which means it might not be safe to consume.

Those who desire to protect their bodies and keep the government out of their food might prefer not to consume soy in any of its forms. Also, too much soy can cause digestive problems in kids and adults.

Nut-Free

Since so many people in America are allergic to nuts, it’s best to choose a multivitamin that guarantees that no nuts are used in the making of the product. You should also ensure that the manufacturing facility doesn’t make other products that might contain nuts. With MaryRuth’s brand, you have nothing to fear.

Dairy-Free

The average American is lactose intolerant at some level. Typically it’s in adults, but it can crop up at any age. If you do have it, you’re better off not consuming dairy products or being careful about when you do so.

Generally, vegans stay away from dairy because it is a by-product from cows or goats. Since this multivitamin doesn’t contain milk or dairy of any form, it’s safe to consume, regardless of your condition or lifestyle choices.

No Added Sugars

Sugar is another concern for many people. Though it’s nice to have a sugary treat, too much sugar is bad for your body. A teaspoon of sugar doesn’t contain that many calories, but it does add up quickly.

If you’ve got diabetes or pre-diabetes, it can raise your blood sugar levels and also cause a spike/crash situation. It might also increase your triglycerides, which can cause you to be more at risk for heart disease.

While you might not avoid sugar altogether, it should be a moderate craving and shouldn’t be found in your multivitamin. Luckily, the MaryRuth’s Liquid Morning Multivitamin doesn’t contain any added sugar.

Since fruit juice is used, it does consist of the natural fruit sugars. The sweetness also comes from the Triple UV Deionized Water used in the manufacturing process. Vegetable glycerin is used, as well as noni juice.

Nightshade Free

Nightshades are a group of vegetables, such as potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, and eggplants. While these vegetables are healthy for you, nightshades can include a harmful substance called solanine. This can lead to inflammation within the body, which can aggravate the digestive system.

Most people associate nightshades with belladonna, which is poisonous. Most nightshades aren’t eaten as food, though some of them are quite common.

You may find that they are included as ingredients for other products, such as condiments. It’s unclear if they can cause too much inflammation. To be on the safe side, MaryRuth’s chose not to include them in its multivitamins.

Yes, I’d like to try this multivitamin for the entire family.

Can Children Safely Use The Morning Liquid Multivitamin?

Most parents realize that their kids need different nutrients and vitamin amounts. You may even question whether this product can be used by children when it’s also utilized by adults.

According to MaryRuth’s, children who are at least two years old can use this formula. However, it’s best to talk with your pediatrician first to make sure it’s suitable for your child’s specific needs.

A child might not need the same dosage as an adult. You can talk to your doctor about the most appropriate dosage options.

If you were to compare the child’s gummy multivitamin and the liquid morning one, you are going to find that the liquid product contains more of many of the vitamins (up to and over 100 percent).

This often isn’t bad for children who require more vitamins and minerals. It’s always an excellent idea to consult their doctor with questions, though.

Why Doesn’t MaryRuth’s Contain Iron?

A quick glance at the ingredient list showed me that iron isn’t included. Though it is important for the body, most people find it very difficult to digest.

The manufacturers chose not to include it and risk people getting constipated because of it. Additionally, many customers don’t require extra iron and wanted a formula that did not contain it. Those who do need more iron can choose a standalone supplement for iron.

Considerations for Travel

Since the product is in a liquid state, you cannot take the entire bottle with you on an airplane. If you’re only going to be gone for a few days, you may consider putting the doses in small containers that are airline-approved.

Refrigeration Concerns

Because of the way the multivitamin is made, it should be refrigerated once it has been opened. You can leave it on the shelf or in a cabinet while it is unopened.

It’s easy to forget to put it back in the fridge once you are done with it. If you did forget to put it back, don’t worry.

The company has thoroughly tested this and found that you can leave it out of the fridge for a full seven days. It’s always a good idea to put it back in the fridge the moment you realize it has been left out.

What Don’t I Like About This Vitamin

There isn’t a lot to be unliked but there are a few things. For one, the bottle is a little tall so it doesn’t fit on my refrigerator shelves. It has to go in the door where the almond milk goes.

This bottle is plastic too. I wish it were glass like the prenatal + postnatal liquid vitamins for MaryRuth’s. If you prefer a glass bottle, those prenatal vitamins are good for moms both before and after having kids.

Also, I find that if I take the vitamin plain, it still tastes too much like vitamins for my sensitive palate. There’s an easy workaround because I’ll add the liquid to a small glass of juice. You also don’t taste it after adding it to a smoothie.

Are You Going to See a Difference?

Most people who start taking the multivitamin notice an immediate difference in their energy and improvements to the hair, nails, and skin. However, you might not feel anything at all.

It doesn’t mean the product isn’t working. In fact, most of the changes to your body are going to be internal.

You may not have as many digestive issues and have better bloodwork results. It’s a good idea to stick with it and keep track of your bowel movements and changes in laboratory tests to ensure that it’s doing good things for your body.

Does The Liquid Morning Multivitamin Increase Your Energy?

Most people wonder how a multivitamin can boost their energy levels. Generally, the vitamin supplement is going to contain B vitamins, such as B12 and B6.

These are known to boost energy in various ways. It’s not magical, but you may feel the effects without realizing why.

For example, B12 is designed to help turn the food you consume into usable energy for the body. It’s also an essential vitamin that must be supplemented on a vegan diet.

The cells use it to stay healthy, as well as the nerves. When you don’t have enough nutritious foods in your diet, you get tired fast and may feel weak all the time. Adding a multivitamin is the best way to avoid this and keep your energy levels up.

Conclusion

It is easy to see that the liquid multivitamin from MaryRuth’s is an excellent choice for adults and kids. In fact, many families prefer it because they don’t have to worry about swallowing a pill.

Plus, you can pour out the right amount for every person in the household. You don’t have to store a lot of different bottles or remember to give everyone theirs.

During your morning routine, have cups full of the right amount, and each family member can grab theirs and take it while running to the bus or heading to the car to go to work.

This product is full of all the minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants you need. Plus, it is free of gluten, soy, dairy, nuts, and is vegan-friendly. Consider letting the whole family try it.

  1. I love this vitamin. I have chronic fatigue but you would never know it. I have so much more energy with this vitamin. However I lose my energy by about 5 in the afternoon. I am 75 years old. I have been taking this for about two months and my 80 year old husband. We are octo ovo vegetarians. I would like to take another swig once in a while to stay awake longer.
